Lake Forest – Cape Cod

Project Details

This charming Cape Cod was a wonderful project. From furniture to artwork, the client had so many beautiful inherited pieces. We wanted to create spaces to showcase her unique personal artifacts. We found an incredible mid-century tapestry rolled up in the basement, for which we created a custom space in her home office. All the upholstered furniture in the master bedroom had originally been in her mother’s first apartment, and because of the scale and quality, we reupholstered them. Throughout the youngest daughter’s bedroom, we worked in a subtle equestrian theme, with inherited British fox hunting prints, as well as Hermes fabrics and wallpaper.
